I've been fishing since I was two-years old. With deep family roots in the crabbing and fishing communities in my home state of Virginia, fishing simply runs in my blood, and I'm intent on keeping the family tradition alive in my own way. My hobbies, beyond fishing, include bird hunting, working around the house, grilling, and tinkering with just about anything I can get my hands on.
I currently hold my 50-ton Master Captain's license with towing endorsements through the USCG.
My wife, Danielle, and I enjoy hunting and fishing, road tripping, time at home, and building C4 Guide Service into a leader in guided fishing.
Over the years I've donated my time and boat as a volunteer captain for high school fishing events and Take A Veteran Fishing events. Getting others involved in fishing and enjoying a great experience on the water is something I am passionate about, and the primary reason for starting C4 Guide Service.
I currently fish two local tournament series, including Mutiny Bass Anglers and Angler's Choice Fox Chain division. All tournaments are located on the Chain of Lakes. I've been fishing tournaments for ten years--not counting the carp catching tourneys I enjoyed as a kid--and know the ups and downs of tournament fishing and decision making well. I have learned to recognize my mistakes, make changes, and grow from the experience.
The Chain O' Lakes, otherwise know as the Chain, is a northern Illinois waterway composed of fifteen lakes connected by the Fox River and man-made channels. Encompassing more than 7,000 acres of water, 488 miles of shoreline and 45 miles of river, the Chain is one of the busiest inland recreational waterways in the United States. The Chain is located on the border of Lake and McHenry counties in northern Illinois; about an hour from both Chicago and Milwaukee.
Living in Antioch, Illinnois, the Chain is at my doorstep. When I'm not working, you'll find me on the water.
Booking a guided fishing trip is one of the best ways to see and understand this incredible waterway.
C4 is interested in creating mutually-beneficial relationships with companies in the fishing industry and local businesses. I can increase exposure to your business through fishing tournaments, C4 Guide Service, my social media accounts, and personal use of your products and services. My boat is professionally wrapped and I currently have a few open spots for paid sponsorship advertising, but I also welcome product alliances. It is highly important to me to partner with those who have the same determination and dedication in growing their businesses as I have to continue growing as an angler and guide.
If you'd like to discuss opportunities, please reach out via email or call me at 847-828-4488.
